Thanks for posting this up, cant wait to hear it.

I just got in from a long bike ride and was listening totally to ' Sitting in the Park' downloaded shows on my ipod !! They are incredible and I have discovered so much new music I never knew at all ! Thanks Bob !

Is there a way to pledge support for the station from the uk ? possibly online ?

I know I for one would be poorer if this great show ended, even just for hearing Bob start EVERY anouncement with "OK.....

Thanks so much for listening, I appreciate it. I will try to work in some more 'uh's and 'ummms' on top of the okays for you!

I will ask if someone can take paypal somehow. At least you could get a cool shirt from a chicago radio station out of it. I will get back to you.

I'm doing my annual 'best-of' show in a couple of weeks after the pledge drive is over. I will also try to start putting up older shows since I'm doing so many interviews and fewer music shows now. Thanks again.

I played it off 45. A scan of my 45 is on dante's website. I generally only play 45s on my show (not because I believe original vinyl is the only way to listen to music but rather because I'm an obsessive loser). However, on this particular show I actually played a bunch of the revival stuff off cd. My friend's record label numero group recently put out an excellent comp of the label.

Hi Bob!

Love gospel soul, so really enjoyed this show,

and these were my personal favourites:

Benis Co. - It's easy

Florida Spiritualaires - I remember when

Sam Taylor - Heaven on their minds

Gospel Comforters - Yes god is real

Jean and Donella - One more step and I'll be there

Gospel Monolations - Christ is the answer

Gospel Comforters - Jesus will help me

Crowns of Glory - Ain't no sunshine

Robert Vanderbilt and the Foundation of Souls - A message especially from God

Deliverance Echoes - Heaven

Mighty Walker Brothers - He'll make a way

Reynolds Brothers - Who do you have?

Divine Chords - Goodness of the lord

Thank God for the WorldWideWeb, says this Swedish listener :)

Hope Barry (Soul-Brother on here) hears this show, should be right

up his street, since I know he loves his deep spine-tingling gospel soul.

Best regards,

Melismo
