Dennisoul Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Anybody ever clapped eyes on a " Love is the only solution " Thelma white demo? Andy
Premium Stuff Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) Not seen one in the flesh, but saw one for sale on a list a few years ago - circa 2004. Can't remember who had it though. I was out of work at the time for a few months and so could not buy it - it was only £400 I think I got my issue when I visited Mr Manship at his shop one school day in Melton Mowbray. Picked up Martha's Love Is The Only Solution for £9.00 I think and a Eula Cooper on Super Sound for a bit less I bought the Thelma 45 blind though because I already knew and loved No Part Time Love For Me. I'm Lonely is THE side though. Cheers Richard Edited April 12, 2009 by Premium Stuff

BAZ A Baz - do you mean you need either an issue or demo of Martha Star to complete the full Thelma run (plus B Kennedy), or that you just need a WDJ? Have you got all the early series? I need a couple of those ones. Some of the Thelma WDJs are quite hard. Still looking for a couple of WDJs to replace issues. Cheers Richard

Albert Petit Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 400 GBP is the price of the record in my school days...LOL Not seen one in the flesh, but saw one for sale on a list a few years ago - circa 2004. Premium Stuff Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 400 GBP is the price of the record in my school days...LOL Yes, that was my point that I had the chance to get one for only £400 quid just 5 years ago, but because I was out of work I didn't take it - I am a f*ck*ng idiot because I could have sold my issue for more than that the same day and ended up with both the white promo and some extra money :thmbdn: Gotta laugh (not) Cheers Richard

I asked for the record within 30 minutes and he said it went within seconds and he'd been inundated since. Don't know who was the more pissed - me for being too slow or the seller for his glaring pricing error. Never seen one though. Cheers Pete
