April 12, 200916 yr Gemm.com is usually good. Lowest price available is usually a realistic sales price. And it saves you from checking manship and moerer since they're both on there.
April 12, 200916 yr Popsike (and ebay) far from a reliable price guide IMHO.....and Gemm I find are often top whack.

April 13, 200916 yr Our next project is on-line guide, as soon as the new website is up and running (we decided to hold off the launch until after Frank Wilson) This on-line guide is not only be vinyl price check, but also carrying over 30,000 sound files + label scans, place of origin, year of release, producer info etc. etc. price against conditions etc and all the relevant authenticating info, you require especially for NS bootlegs. Plus full access to everything ever sold on our auctions with the original write-ups and much more. At the moment you can only view what we have in stock, or have out of stock by an artist we have something in stock by. So about 65% of our data you cannot see. We are approaching a 250,000 listings, all values will be listed in USA$, UK£, Yen & OZ$. This'll be an on going project added to every day our aim is 1,000,000 listings. Watch out for the launch in the summer. John Edited April 13, 200916 yr by john manship
April 13, 200916 yr www.musicstack.com also has loads of records on their site. Comes in handy if you're looking for oddball stuff.

John i find the biggest bind with your book is that the way the data is listed is in name order and thats it (but thats what you get with a printed book). its fine but what if i want to look at all the okeh releases or maybe i would like view the data by price. ideally i could ask it to display all abc releases that cost less than 100 pounds. will your new website have the ability to manipulate the data or will it be static like the book. if i can sort the content i would happily pay for it. thanks
