Bigsoulman Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Is the track by Curtis "Be Thankful" available on any format Or was it unreleased Thanks in advance Lenny
Kevin Jones Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 If you are referring to the same song as William DeVaughn, then I am pretty sure it is not by Curtis Mayfield, don't think he ever recorded it. It is one of those doctored computer recordings where the speed of the vocals is either speeded up or slowed down, as is the music. I have a cd with that track on it and I must be honest some of them sound pretty good. Kev Jones

Guest REVILOT Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 William cut an album for TEC and recut Be Thankful etc. It was a reworking rather than a new version. I have heard DJs announce it as Curtis, but why?? - it sounds nothing like him. Do like his Hold On To Love...
