Well obviously "yes" as somebody is willing to pay that sum for it...to me it defo ain`t as I play the original and first -and to my ears equally good - version by The Cornelius Brothers which you can get for 10 USD :thumbup:

Sold one through here for £350.00 about a year ago, and definitely thought I'd got the best of the deal. Especially as I also had the Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, which is so much better as to almost not be believed!

JUST GOT THERE OTHER ONE OF A USA SITE FOR 11DOLLERS ITS GOOD ALSO IE LETS DANCE ,THE BOOK ON THE ONE IN QUESTION IS £350 IN THE LATEST QUIDE.

Personally disagree that this is better than MD&B but each to thier own eh :D

Thus said ,if my memory serves me right there were a few copies of MD&B floating around here a few yrs back for the book price and a lot less .

I bet most of the copies are floating about in Sweden/Norway and Germany,where it seems to have more appeal . :thumbsup:

used to be a 30-50 quider circa 2002-3 until the funk boys got hold of it....

i did have 5 copies all long gone now.....

a realistic price is probably 250-300(max) now adays :thumbsup:

Had five copies of this in 81 from label owner direct from Augusta and a press photo if I remember.

Sold a spare last year for £167- which I thought was a good price. Until the funk boys checked the flip @ Since I Found My Baby' no one wanted this 45. !!!

Was spun heavily circa 1981 via S Sam, Arthur, Poke at the most discerning modern soul clubs of that era.
