Starting with 4 nice Motowns! ...wonder why "Shotgun", which is the earliest of these (and apparently the first release on the label!) is on Tamla Motown and the other three are on Stateside? ...Don't think that either of these Arthur Conley tracks came out in the USA (at least not until many years later) ...Actually only "Toe Hold" is SA - Sharon's version of Millie's floorfilling classic is of Angolan origin! ...if that's not a deep soul record then I don't know what is!!!! I'll post a few more later on...
