paup-ine Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 (edited) I had --"Landslide"--Tony Clark for ages and when it rang --amazing how many people wud say summat like--"Oh i love old Motown" U.T.T. Tony Coleby Now thats a good start to a ringtone. I used to have Archie Bell - Here I Go Again, but it was so quiet at the start, that by the time I realised it was ringing, the call would cut off!! Baby Hit & Run would be a good ringtone. P Edited March 28, 2009 by paup-ine
Jim G Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Mine is Anne Sexton ' You've Been Gone Too Long'. All my work colleagues love it !
Ian Parker Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I have 'You didnt say a word' which i swap now and again with 'Baby what i mean' had Interplay and all manner of nonsense, but my fave ring tone to date has to be 'shakin all over' by Johnny Kidd and the pirates
Guest topcatnumpty1 Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Exactly right--thats why i picked Landslide---instant--whoosh--would ave bin a bit daft having summat like--"So nobody else can hear"--Jimmy Cobb(takes a minute --before you can hear it!!!) Kev Moore Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Happiness is Here-Barbera Mercer for txt alert. Not a Chance in a Million-Jock Mitchell for incoming calls.
Guest Bicks Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Used to have Curtis Mayfield Move on Up which was great because for about an hour after it went off people in the office would be humming or whistling it. I had to change it though because I changed my answer phone to pick up at 30 seconds and I didn't want any vocals so I changed it to Bari Track which gets some funny looks as the first couple of blows on the sax sounds like my phone's farting.
Guest dundeedavie Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 intrigued, what would it e then.....jazz? The last tune I had was liquidator , it lends itself well to a ringtone
