Seems to be no one on to this rarity (double sider) with one day left. Plenty of the shit versions floating about (terrible bontempi organ on it! ) at £75 a pop. Or is it because eveyone waits last minute to bid! It really is a very hard tune to find! Took me bloody ages! :)

I prefer the lp version than the 45 cut.

Question...does the lp have both tracks on it (45 is great double header).

Make love to Me and I Need Love?

I think it does if memory serves me correct.

It does Mark, I'll pull the LP out tonioight, got it on a visit to san fran some years ago same batch as the singles she let go..

she hates the vocal on the Promo by the way, but Bill her husband persuaded he to sell the stock of 45's they had to you know who on Haight street.

Also heard how Carrie herself hated (and still hates) the first version so re-recorded it with that terrible organ sound. For ages you could walk into Groove Merchant in San Francisco and take your pick of 45 (a boxful!) or lp (really nice picture of her on the sleeve of the lp), she still lives nearby too, picked one up first time saw it but flipped it pretty quickly as not really into it, laughing seeing it described as being that rare but guess you had to get one of that batch, happens.

I did exactly that... plus the LP on the same visit, was also told there is a DISCO track on the LP, cant remember the title, that is collected by the Disco crowd, they will buy anything with 'Disco' in the title!!! :)
