Paul Byford 1 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 There are so many to choose from.I am looking for boxes that can hold either 100, 200, 300. Swan look quite good for durability,I wondered if there are any that have a good reputation as lasting boxes?.Some of the flight cases I have look pretty enough but if I start lugging them about I am not sure if the handles will stay on! I have bought some cases off Ebay but have run out of space again.Any recommendations please?!
Corbett80 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Swanflight are excellent for durability. Either that or Logicline for home storage.
Ernie Andrews Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I have a VIntage 1960s original - Leather One I bought from New York 3 years ago. I had to replace the handle. It holds about 150 - Ive stuck some minilabels on it as well.
Guest Trevski Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 SWAN bomb proof.......the best.....I.M.H.O. Phil. I second that Phil! Was talking boxes t'other day with Kev Drage and we both came to the same conclusion about Swan; they may not be the cheapest, but when you tally up how many ££ worth of vinyl you put in it, why skimp on protecting 'em? Forget the rest, buy the best, your vinyl deserves it!

Guest Brett F Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Swan all the way (BEST BOXES BY A MILE)", years back i took a 200 "covers 33" box to Manchester.the bloody handle fell off in the city centre, i had to find some shop that sold a screwdriver, whereupon i repaired the said box on a flower bed with all my records ( a few shilling too) laid on the earth while i completed this foul and heinous task. I have since done a home made industrial nut and bolt job on this box..............next time the box will fall off...... But the handle will be like one of Gods children..TRUE AND GOOD.........
