Soulsider Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 The Trip - Dave Mitchell & The Screamers Zola - King Errison Double Life - Jerry Fuller
Guest Little Anthony Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Chandlers - "You're love makes me lonley". It breaks into 3-4 waltz time towards the end, leaving yoiu stranded on the floor waiting for the guitar break before things get going again.....top tune though.
Guest Matt Male Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) If were talking awkward rather than just fast then... The Visitors - Lonely One Only Son In your ears it sounds like a million dollar dancer but when you dance to it it's really difficult and i'm not sure why (and i can dance comfortably to The Nomads). A crying shame cos it's an absolute stonking record. Edited March 16, 2009 by Matt Male

It breaks into 3-4 waltz time towards the end, leaving yoiu stranded on the floor waiting for the guitar break before things get going again.....top tune though. with you on that one, think I've gone to the bar, got a drink and come back before it kicks back in pat powdrill though (Pete S)... that's danceable? I'll 'do it', even if I muck it up, It's one record I'll always be up for
Guest marge Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 What about records that could be classed as too slow to dance to.... E.g Jimmy Radcliffe Ray Pollard Gene McDanniels etc Great music....but not dancers................or are they??? Good call I must be on my way - flat lining tempo
Guest familytree Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) think that 'Higher and Higher' and Superstition are miles apart musically.....but great as well yes i meant there is a definate 'square' kinda beat goin on in the both of them... sure there is a more technical term out there.. up across down across... ha... i know what i mean.. x Edited March 16, 2009 by familytree

Kev Salvadors hard to dance to??? Maybe now in me dotage but thats just an age thing & f**k all to do with the tune at all. At the Torch people got killed in the stampede to get on the floor when the first bars cut the place up. Mind you a visit to the medicine cupboard beforehand made most things possible... Nij
