There's guy selling a copy of 'Why Should We Stop Now' on Ebay and in his notes section he claims that 'I Thought You Were Mine' on Boola Boola sold 30,000 copies

Makes you wonder -

i) How many were pressed up

ii) How many are still about

iii) Is it really that rare to command a £300 price

Hi got a copy of natural four on boola boola of list of manship in section saying something like £3 cheapies around 1979.Then nobody wanted the boola boola copy they all wanted the ABC press they also probley didn`t no that this was the first press As to there being 30,000 copies no way . Maybe 1000 copies and £300 seems a fair price cause you very rarly see them for sale.

ive talked to mr hoskins and he never made a mention of numbers like that. he did have a hit with the record but 30,000 may have been a national sell but definitely not just locally. i emailed the dude selling the record asking where his info came from. hopefully he'll respond.

I guess 30,000 could be the total of both Boola Boola and ABC copies sold nationwide

Be interesting to know how many of each were pressed up
