Northern Soul Gig In Benidorm?

Anyone who has been to Benidorm for a holiday will have seen Wesley Phillips.

Wesley has been on the soul circuit for many years, playing trumpet for both the Jacksons and Cameo in the 80s, and has appeared on several other albums as a performer or an engineer. His current show features songs by artists such as Barry White, Harold Melvin, Arthur Conley, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, Earth, Wind And Fire and many more.

Wesley has asked me to pose the question "If he did a Northern Soul show in Benidorm, would people travel to see it?".

As Benidorm is a regular long weekend outing for many stag and hen do's, then accomodation can be found relatively cheaply. Easyjet and Bmi Baby do some fantastic flight deals to Alicante. So it's probably not a cost issue.
