Misspelt names on labels are quite common on the UK issues. No idea where the Leslie Butler comes from, it was issued on DB 1083 so I guess there's some mistake in your guide
Guest Geoff Whitfield Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks for the info guide says it is valued at £30 which seems a lot i picked my copy up for £5 though it is only vg

ZapatootheTiger Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 CANTELOUPE ROCK is a belter... It's on the GAZ'S ROCKIN' BLUES 2 CD set (Trojan TJDDD270)
Birder66 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 CANTELOUPE ROCK is a belter... It's on the GAZ'S ROCKIN' BLUES 2 CD set (Trojan TJDDD270) Penny played it last night - but you need a JA blank or JA Fugitive label copy. The turn up a fair bit on ebay
ZapatootheTiger Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 He did. When I mentioned above about CR being a "belter", I couldn't actually place the tune, but I knew it was a top tune. When I heard it last night, I thought "this is a killer", but it took a further 30 seconds to place it as CANTELOUPE ROCK. ...so is CANTELOUPE ISLAND (an 'andsome choon), of course I'll get me coat...
