Godzilla
theres no pleasing some people i thought i'd heard a lot worse, with a lot bigger price tags I think if you're going to make a statement like that you really ought to name the records your referring to. Rich B
this is a joke, yes? I'm hoping that is a statement rather than a question Dave! When I gave Gary Rushbrooke the Monticellos to play out I was unsure about the response it would get - clearly I needn't have been if something like that can be considered. on second thoughts just call it Doni Burdick! Guest
I like it! It's not Soul, ok, but lovely little early 60s pop beat ballad, exactly the stuff my wife collects.. Wouldn't mind if you can tell me real artist and title, deffo a pressie for the missus' upcoming birthday jeez!!!! If I had known people actualy pay for stuff like that. I started listing a load of dross like that as Pete S was looking for british w/demos. There must have been about 60 mint demos and another 100 or so mint issues that all went down the tip last week. All sixties pop stuff that has been sat in my shed for God knows how long doing nothing but wasting space Link to comment Social source share

ajb
ouch ! just listened & have to say amazed that anyone could suggest playing it out truly dreadful the question was would it. could it or has it been played out the answer was a resounding NO to all three i know its not a soul record, but, with such a liking for early r&b sliding into the scene i thought i'd ask to my ears at least, some tunes seem to really slow compared with times gone by as a tune i didn't think it was that bad, and i doubt the company who issued it with Hal Miller on the flip did either ( this is off a re-issue, no idea of original) oh well, how wrong you can be seems 99% of replies disliked it i won't stop disliking it because it doesn't fit in, and i 'll take all comments on board, and thank those replying for their honesty thank you alan Link to comment Social source share
