Dysonsoul Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Interesting topic potentially.. in m experience a few proven near on impossibles linda ballatine-bandit joe walker -nifty frankie lymon- big apple (certainly the tp group purists stateside will own it) but on the other label only had it the once and kept it) jeff lane -d-zero then you start going deeper and you start giving the game away... things like dewey jeffries are hard but a lower level in quality and rarity (sold 3 of it a few years ago) the other thing b o'b.. on same label i reckonis harder and better yellow label rather than black, sure i got the kimtone thing on 2 different label designs and had spares of both so again hard but note like the same league as earlier mentioned c.o.d's -she's fire.. or that defenders 45 that's about same tempo just a few years later when spun ! Heads up me arse i mean't dewey black ,not dewey jeffries in this post....

Mace Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 (edited) What do you think of the Narvel Felts ? Potential ? Rare ? Demo only according to the RENAY discography and virtually zero information anywhere else . regards . It's a good tune (despite NF being a C&W singer ). Roger Banks plays it now and again. It's deffo a hard one, never seen an issue, so sounds right being demo only. Bagged a few demos off ebay for a few bucks Got stiffed on another one on a U.K. website for £9 a few years back.....can't believe someone actually stiffed me for all of £9 Was in a little old record store in US last year, and noticed a huge rack behind the owner full of C&W in alphabetical order. I asked if he had a Narvel Felts section...Des Parker instantly looked up at me, somewhat gutted, as he'd obviously never thought to look for it despite being there numerous times before There was a Narvel Felts section....it wasn't in there though......... Mace Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 More to the point how many with labels on correct side Mine has got correct labels on right sides...still must be a lot with correct labels? Was it Roger Banks who had a few with wrong labels flipped a good few years back?
Dave Rimmer Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Mine has got correct labels on right sides...still must be a lot with correct labels? Was it Roger Banks who had a few with wrong labels flipped a good few years back? I know Andy Murfin turned a dozen up back in the days of Bretby when Chris Anderton ran it that had reversed labels
