Top example has to be Ghost In My House Showstoppers - "..Houseparty", Bob & Earl, Contours - "Just A Little Misunderstanding", Frankie Valli - "You're Ready Now" - all played on the rare soul scene before being re-issued and charting, Then there was Tami Lynn, the Fascinations and Formations on Mojo, Archie Bell & Drells - "Here I Go Again", Robert Knight - "Love On A Mountain Top", Frankie Valli - "The Night".... er, "Footsie" an' some more stuff...
