Tommy1 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Didn't realise this one had become Northern though IMO it is Please don't tell the northern soul police
Martint Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 IMO it is Please don't tell the northern soul police not even remotely northern IMO but really great, thanks very much for the link
Hakenig Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 killer tune, have been playing this for many years (although I rarely dj). Disclaimer: I'm American
Godzilla Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 IMO it is Please don't tell the northern soul police Nothing to do with Soul Police, Tommy It's just a funky jazz tune and has been played as such by non-niche DJs for years. Nothing wrong with anyone playing it in Northern rooms of course, and if goes down well and makes a few more people aware of it that's fine

It's not northern, but it works very well at soul nights!
