Guest Dante Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 (edited) Hi there, A friend of mine, who's one of the oldest skinheads here in Mexico, just self-published a book about original skinhead culture & jamaican music called AGGRO, Skins+Reggae=TNT. It features two lists: ska/rocksteady/early reggae labels in Jamaica, and UK labels. The JA list is alot bigger, and I really don't think it's complete... I decided to copy the UK list, so everyone here could fill the gaps... Here it goes: Ackee (1969-1972) Airbone (1966) Aladdin (1965) Amalgamated (1968-1970) Amusicon (1967) BAF (1968-70) Bamboo ((1969-1972) Big Shot (1968-1975) Black Swan (1963-1965) (1970-1971) Blue Beat (1960-1967) Blue Cat (1968-1969) Bullet (1969-1973) Caltone (1967-1968) Camel (1969-1973) Caribou (1965) Carnival (1963-1965) Chek ((1962) Clandisc (1969-1972) Collins Down Beat (1967-1968) Columbia Blue Beat (1967-1970) Coxsone (1967-1969) Crab (1968-1971) Creole (1970-1971) Crystal (1969-1975) Dice (1962-1966) Direct (1966-1967) Doctor Bird (1966-1969) Double D (1967-1968) Down Town (1968-1973) Duke (Melodisc 1960-1961) Duke (1968-1973) Escort (1969-1971) Explosion (1969-1974) Fab (1966-1972) GG (1970-1973) Gas (1968-1971) Gayfeet (1969-1970) Giant (1967-1968) Grape (1969-1973) Hala-Gala (1965-1969) Harry J (1969-1974) High Note (1968-1974) Hornet (1962) Hot Rod (1970) Hot Shot (1970) Islan (1962-1968) Jackpot (1969-1973) Jay Boy (1969) JJ (1968-1970) JNAC Joe (1969-1970) Jolly (1968-1969) Jump Up (1962-1964) Junior (1969-1971) Kalypso (1961-1963) King (1965) Limbo (1960) Major Minor (1967-1970?)
