Eric still lives in Thurmaston and growing old disgracefully as you would expect. I still see a lot of Trill and we are off to the lifeline nighter on the 28th............ should be good. Went to blackpool weekender with Mick Pipe and Stu Kent for Micks stag weekend......... messy weekend like the good old days . The Rugby nighters are supposed to be good . if you fancy coming north sometime let me know and we can blow the cobwebs off Alan

Guest Freddie500 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I'm like you guys and still got the NS bug and find myself frequenting local [Leicester] Soul Nites. I stopped going when I met the Mrs and the kids came along and then in about 2000 I realised I needed to have some fun again and discovered Soul Nites were still on the go in Leicester. Around about that time I went to the reunion at Notts Oddfellows Club in aid of Mud and Tomo and it was a really fantastic Nite, amazing atmosphere despite the very sad circumstances....they would have loved it! Eric all of a sudden started showing up at Soul Nites a few years ago but then seemed to stop, or maybe we just go to different Soul Nites. I still recognise some of the old faces like Phil Flavel who is still regularly out and about. I said hello to him a few months ago but he couldn't remember me so I tried to show him a old photo on my phone but he couldn't see it without his glasses... It was great seeing the photo's above, brought back fun memories. Sadly i didn't take many photos during that time so always good to see others who had the sense to take them...thank you Mr Swift. Cheers Danny
