Dave Moore
Just in case anyone gets confused...this is not the same label from Harrisburgh that was owned by Bobby Fulton. Link to comment Social source share
Guest Paul
Just in case anyone gets confused...this is not the same label from Harrisburgh that was owned by Bobby Fulton. Yes, this Soulville label was owned by The True Tones' leader and writer Ron Henderson who went on to form Choice of Colour. Also note that "He's Got The Nerve" was released twice on Josie, first in 1965 (numbered 950) and later in 1969 (1003). Link to comment Social source share

Guest Paul
I doubt it very much - but can anyone tell me why the change in title for the Soulville compared to the Josie. Correcting an error rather than changing the title, I assume. The correct title is "He's Got The Nerve". And, according to Ron Henderson, Josie didn't just pick up the Soulville masters, they recut the tracks in New York. I need to hear the Soulville version again to verify this, I only have a Josie copy. Ron might have just meant they recut 'That's Love' which was the official 'A' side.
