Can anyone give me any info on this please; is this a legal issue.

A fair while back I got a copy of Dearly Beloved on the Kent 7". The label is barely visible as the previous owner blacked it out with a marker pen. He said Kent didn't have the rights to release it, hence the blacked out label???? huh.gif
