Looks like it. Its mis-aligned, and goes over the writing round the edge....

It looks like the script at the top of the label is misaligned with that at the bottom too, but I think it's just down to camera angle. Would have liked to see a straight on shot.

Maybe I'm just gullible!

THis is a UK London demo of Green Onions but I've had that record myself and I swear there was no A on the label, obviously it's a real demo but has someone letrosetted that A on do you think?

Yes, looks like Letraset to me also.

I bought several Motown Oriole label items C.1971 where someone had Letrasetted onto the labels. Not to deceive, but Letraset was brand new in the 60s, and I think he just got carried away with the novelty of it all!

OK well I can tell everyone and be 100% sure that the original demo does not have an A on it. If I could remember who I'd sold it to I'd get them to photo it. None of the London demos have an A on the label before 1963 or thereabouts, if the A is real, and you reckon it is, it must have been a repromoted record

the copy i have has in pen p1962 in small writing just above the A which was year of release.

i have other later yellow demos with smaller A on the left hand side.

Yeah I'm not on about the later demos though, there's about 10 different designs, the first one hasn't got an A on it though, nothing to indicate a or b side
