Guest Trevski Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 No, but I mailed the guy who was buying it, linked him to the thread about it, and he mailed me back thanking me for the info, so I recon he backed out. From the sellers attitude, and the general consensus of oppinion, I recon it was a boot.

Steve G Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 It was deffo a boot mate, and if that wasn’t bad enough, one sold on Ebay bout 6 months ago for over 2 grand, (sterling), and that was a boot also.! link Amazing and the old adage about a fool and his money soon being parted comes to mind. Despte the fact there are people daft or ignorant enough to buy these things doesn't in itself justify the "herberts" that try to pass them off as originals though - and the "biz" with the last seller and his attitude when told about it was simply appalling. In all of this he's the real villain - Those that aren't "hot" on this topic, and cannot distinguish their "Monarch numbers", or their "Nashville Matrix" should be armed with a copy of the Manship book as a matter of course. To do otherwise is a bit like trying to climb a mountain in a pair of "flip flops" I'd suggest .
