I was there great day as allways have you checked out there website they take photos of every doo so if theyve not posted on there website ask them to email them to you incidently good to see a thread about the current wheel on here havent found anything else

i can only find friday nights pictures on twisted wheel .net but i will try again or like you say email them only been going to the wheel since last may been off the scene since 1980 what a fantastic atmostphere at the wheel spike

Due to website constraints and not having any time to take pics [since it's so busy - over 320 in just after 4 o'clock!], I don't have any pics from the Sunday Soul Sessions. One of the visitors did take some photos but then left his camera in the cloakroom when leaving! If we can find his camera, I will get him to email them to me and forward them onto you.

good to see loads of younger people there mind you i think that i'm 17 again when i am there (49 and a half really)

I will start taking some pics on Sunday's but will probably upload them to the website along with the following Friday's pics. Sunday's now seem to be even better attended than the Friday's (The one before Xmas had 400+ in with about 200 locked out! - honest. There were 4x52 seater coaches turned up from the Midlands!) It will be good to include some pics to show how well-attended the Sunday sessions are. Sadly, the photos can't recreate that atmosphere. I think it is the ease of travel and being able to get home at a reasonable time that have made them so popular.

FYI The guest DJ on Friday 27th is Nick Marshall from BBC Stoke, very knowledgable of the music and I'm sure he will do a great spot. He was there on Sunday, big guy with a suit, shirt and tie - you may have seen him.

NigeB took some video footage , not sure how its come out yet as it was very dark down there .

I was gobsmacked that a place could be heaving at 3.15 in the afternoon ! And the dancefloor was rammed you could not get on it lol

Are these the tea dances of the future ?
