I know, it's hard to narrow down to one (or two!) but makes for better reading than endless lists (IMHO) Here's your starter from the Day household.... Alone Again Or - Love My fave. As for a favourite 60s pop record, that is almost as hard as picking your favourite soul record, entirely depends on your mood. I'll go for Roy Orbison's Crying, majestic piece of pop music, but may change my mind in the next half hour.

This is one of the most stunning pieces of music ever made, surpassed only perhaps by another track from that album, "God Only Knows".

Anyway I got his name and number, went home and looked them up, no way was he in the original band. Then he came round my house and gave me a poster for Ruperts People playing live in Israel in 1968! Said I could have it. I said which one are you, and he points at one member who looks nothing like him. Anyway I gave him a lovely US Bell issue of Reflections for it, stuck it on Ebay, got £80. I still don't know if he really was in the band or not but if not, how did he get the poster??
