corby john Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Hi All, Any info as to pricing, where to find these 2 tunes? 1. Lou Rawls - "Stop me from Starting This Feeling", either 45 or album ? 2. Bob Sinclair - "Tribute" P.S. Whats the going rate now for Bobby Patterson - "I'm in love with you" - Jetstar( JS-121) Many Thanks For Your Help John Mc.
Hammie Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I'd say a bit more around £70 mint.... If you get one for £50 youve got a bargain. Plus dont forget John that this great tune also came out on British Action, which seems to go for about the same price. I have the Action (Black & Green) copy All the best

Lots about though so its one you can bide your time on for a good price.

Andy Jackson Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Thanks again to all................Lou Rawls sorted now, but still need copy of Bob Sinclair tune?? cheers, John Mc. John Glad you enjoyed Butlins, I could have sold my copy of Tribute 10 times over after playing it on Saturday!! The song is on Defected records, I got it as a new release so it was fairly easy then, now you may have to go directly to the Defected website to purchase. Other than that if you don't mind CD there are plenty about, the cover is a different colour but the track is on there. You may find people offering it at silly money, keep looking you'll find it for under a tenner. It was good to get such a great response to a record that has been played at Newark for almost a year now. PLENTY MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM! Regards

Regards Hi Andy, it was one of those tunes that semed to "split" the crowd, as i thought it was great, but friends who are more "oldies" orientated hated it!! Heard that a certain dealer was looking for £50 for it that night, but as you say, it wil appear for far less. many thanks, John Mc.
