I was flicking through the channels recently and stopped at a American action movie, and i thought wow that background music rings a note from way back when, late 60's, It was wooly bully, by sam the sham and the pharaohs, it reminded me of a club i attended 1968-70's and wow was some great sounds rolled out here, The guy who ran it was Dave Pikering, Picko and Simon took over after Dave still see dave about and he does some recording stuff for the Radio and the Cavern in Liverpool, A few names i remember who attended Critch, it was this chap who said to me at the end of the night, Mall we are off to a new Soul Venue called the wheel in Manchester are you with us off we went with one in the boot in a ford anglia the rest is history Oscar Tony Junior was on, then there was my old mate Jimmy Bell what a good dancer he was, i reckon him and i danced off each other great times great music and the Lads did not dance a lot in the late 60's, mind you Jim visits our venue in Nottingham and hits the floor, so is anyone out there who cut thier teeth at the 360, be good to hear from you, i will list a few more tunes i remember that was played at this great club, oh the club is still there,

Let the good times roll, Bunny Sigler,

Little old man Bill Cosby,

Break out, Mitch Ryder,

Rescue Me, Fontella Bass,

Like A Baby, Len Barrie,

Hear i go again, Archie Bell,

Trampoline, Spencer Davis,

Green Door, Wydner K Frog,

Also the flamingo ( not feathered) up the road was good for a fight. And the Creepers was OK for the tunes & a bit of fisticuffs.Them wos the days ehh.Ta Ray
