love the interview bud, these guys really are making brill tunes in my opinion, cant wait for the cd album, keep em coming

why do you keep addressing a member of the group with "these guys"? you're talking to one of them (if you didn't know).

this was the best part of the interview:

We now have a deal with Stones Throw records and have been placing a lot of tunes in TV/Film. Six tracks are going on the next Guitar Hero (DJ Hero), including Ramsey and Co 'Love Call' and Jewel 'Paradise'.

What a fantastic move. I was thinking the other day about it being a good idea getting some soul tracks onto Guitar Hero or Rock Band after reading an article about how kids are getting into bands they had previously never heard of before playing Guitar Hero, and so many taking up playing real instruments because of it.

Nice interview BTW. I agree with Snowboy, I can't remember a buzz on a new recording like this since Joseph Henry hit us.

I'd guess he didn't know that fact mate - why would he? I certainly didn't know that you were a band member as I'd guess a lot of other people here wouldn't have known - no need to get all uppity-tuppity...

Keep up the good work...MRez

well the interview did keep talking about how they had a "lotusland records" store and his ID is lotusland. And in the last thread he thanked everyone for the feedback. Either way, I was just letting him know ...

I'm sorry. This is the second time this week I offended someone here with my smartass tone, that's just how I talk, I didn't mean to be insulting.

Hayzer, Davidson and myself held a very 'Southportesque' (like Diamonique but with more Class A) interview with old Snowboy on Southport TV a few year back at SPW - it was meant to be a Sports Roundup but it kind of 'Snowboylled' :D , you know.

Anyway!

I remember halting the interview to point out to 'Snowboy' that he 'in profile resembled a Lalique glass bonnet embellishment from a 1932 Studabaker'.

He didn't appreciate the obvious humour.

We did.
