Mister Fish Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Love feelin' / instrumental - Lintony 001 orange (1975) Love feelin' / You gotta come home - Lintony 001 white with green lettering (1976) Totally different mixes, years and flip sides. I just wondered how they came to have the same release no. ??? Any help would be appreciated. While I'm at it, Marshall & the Chi-Lites on DARAN.... How come I've seen the label spelt DAREN ???

How come I've seen the label spelt DAREN ??? i have the chilites on daran and daren, no real difference. a lot of stuff on that label has the artist spelled wrong (for example, chuck rives instead of chuck rivers), but it's funny that they spelled their own label name wrong.
Rich B Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 What a coincidence, I found a white/green copy of Margaret Salters in abox I was going through. So much better than I remember. I recall Ian Levine recounting in his column discovering it when he "bumped" (was he dancing do you think?) into Bill Linton, who owned the label. Do you think he might know? RB

RB On the orange one it states published by LITONY records. I'm hoping that Ian (whilst dancing) pointed out the obvious errors to Mr Linton to avoid embarrassment....
