To Snook Back in the 70's it was either Soul Sam or Brian Rae who played it at St Ives. Soul Sam is mentioned in this thread as having had an acetate but I know for certain that Brian played it on the recognised black In bootleg before it was available to the punters 'cos I had a butchers at the time. No one knows for sure its all guess work but a few seem to think they know and maybe they do but what i do know is that 2 people definatley knows who it is and thats the seller and John Manship hope that helps

I was misinformed at an early stage in the proceedings in order to protect the identity of the seller until some final delicate insurance negotiations had taken place. The label has some staining and the vinyl has a slight warp, with some surface marks. If you were going to grade it, I'd say a US 'VG' or a UK 'E-' Overall, a more than acceptable copy given its rarity. The vinyl is better on Kenny's copy, but I would say that the labels on Tim's are cleaner in that they bare only writing made at the time time of press. Kenny's on the other hand has been personalized. Some collectors would argue that its makes Tim's copy a more desirable piece as it remains untarnished and virgin. It was also the 1st copy to be found. When it comes down to it, I don't see there being a great disparity in value between the two. Just my opinion.
