Godzilla Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Noticed in the post about Colin Curtis' box of lost records that he says he had an original 45 of "Lend a Hand" in there. I assume therefore he's counting the UK issue with Willie Hutch on the flip as an original issue? So what year would that be? I remember it coming out and would guess around 76 - but could easily be miles out Was just trying to work out when the records went missing. Colin jokingly said if during this demolition work anybody came across a box of records he had lost there would be a £5 for its return. It was merely a way of listing some of the tunes he had broken/played at The Mecca. There is no box of lost records. There is no reward. He is - like his former sparring partner Ian Levine - a guy with a huge amount of knowledge & a wealth of interesting anecdotes.
