Both sdes recent SN plays for me and both great dancers. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marvin Gaye: Come Get To This (Tamla) £10 Is it the greatest motwon record??? Some sai it is........well it's certainly one of the best 70's. Monster plays over the past few years and still a guaranteed floorfiller. Your collection wouldn't be complete without it. 'Truly..' is great motown dancer that I've spun to full floors at Sleepless Nights while 'Where Is...' is a midtempo to die for (also featured on Serlings Motown Connoisseurs CD). Recommended. Edwin Starr: Girls Are Getting Prettier (Ric Tic wol) £5 Classic Detroit Northern form the great man. Supremes: Where Did Our Love Go (Stateside) £5 Yes it was a huge hit but don't try telling me it's not a brilliant soul record. Hands up all those dancing around the chalet to it in Cleethorpes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Vogues: True Lovers (Co + Ce) £10 Great version of the Four Chaps at half the price. Brilliant group midtempo. Dee Dee Warwick: When Love Slips Away (Mercury) £20 Brilliant midtempo. Same (and as good as IMO) as Margo and Marvettes at a fraction of the price. Recommended. Dionne Warwick: Reach Out For Me (Scepter/Wand) £10 Great version Rudy West: Stop! (Landmark) £15 One time 100 quider before a few turned up. Brilliant crossover midtempo. Al Wilson: Show and Tell (Bell) £10 Quite simply one of the greatest 70's soul records. A must have record Jackie Wilson: Didn't I/Let This Be A Letter To My Baby (Brunswick) £15 Seem to say this about every record of his that I list but.....one of his best double-headers. Didn't I is a great funky 70's dancer that I've spun at SN and the Neptune niters while the flip is a beat ballad to die for..............looks great on a Canadian Burgundy!!? Issue Nancy Wison: Where Does That Leave Me (Capitol) £15 Awesome female version of the Romance Watson monster at a fraction of the price.
