Dendog
Ha ha given me a good laugh, if only it wasn't true. You know it's time to exit stage left when you hear those immortal words " when I went to blah blah blah" No drainpipe climbing with my sleep with one eye open Mother so perhaps I am just jealous. I now some guys out there are 60 and over and still going strong still spinning some vinyl and liking it but I wished i was 16 again and relive it all again Dendog Link to comment Social source share
Madmandy
Wow ....we do have some quite young folks on the scene ... heikki 1
I turned 30 in December. About an hour ago I noticed there's an empty bottle of mineral water on my desk at work and the "Best before" date is the same as my 30th birthday. I kid you not. Seems like there are quite a few people on the scene(s) who were born in the late 70's. Soul music found me in the mid/late 90's when Northern Soul was having one of its peaks. No, we're not. If we are younger, we have les time in the scene, and usually were hooked up by the 60s stuff and we haven't got tired of it, yet. I like a bit of crossover, but it's still the 60s material that does it for me. Specially for me, as I'm thousands of miles away from all the big scenes. I'm kind of isolated, and soul-source is the only way to keep up with the current plays, etc... Edited January 24, 2009 by Dante Link to comment Social source share
