Guest MBarrett Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 There have been some good soul and R&B performances on Jules Hollands' Hootenanny in the last few years. Irma Thomas and Solomon Burke spring immediately to mind. I really hope Martha and the girls can turn it on tonight. I expect they will just do a couple of the chart "biggies" but for myself would love for them to do "Come and Get These Memories" and maybe "Third Finger . . . " Regarding the latter saw Martha get a bit emotional at one live performance. Really grateful to the British public for "discovering" this track and giving her the chance to sing it again and again. Any more thoughts . . . . . ? MB
