FROM THE PRESET/TIMELESS VINYL ALBUM SELF TITLED IKE NOBLE (1987) LICENCED FROM CONNWOLL RECORDS PUT OUT BY MIKE WARD, SO IS NOT UNKNOWN OR UNRELEASED UNLESS IT HAS BEEN RE-RECORDED BY IKE NOBLE, NOT MUCH ELSE DANCER WISE ON THE ALBUM, KEEP ME CRYING AND SHAKE IT LOSE ARE OK IF YOU LIKE THAT SORT OF THING, THE D'KALENDARS CD IS AVAILABLE AT CDBABY NOW! WITH THIS TRACK ON IT, HAPPY HUNTING, RICK SCOTT

htpp://cdbaby.com/cd/dkalendar

Some of the tracks are on the timeless LP, but much of it not

When Howard sold these to me a year ago he had only had a few pressed to promote the catalog, clearly he has now decided to release it. Anyway a good CD

At the risk of you lot taking the piss as usual, my favourite 'new sound' was Joe Jama - My Life because I only heard it for the first time this year, sorry for not hearing it years ago like the rest of you but I thought, for some reason, it was modern, so I always avoided it

Yep, awesome tune. Remember the buzz going round the Backbeat room at Middleton when I heard it last year.

For 2008 though, by far my top tune is Be Gone - Jimmy Brown!!!!! Courtesy of both Hoss and Ted Couldstone. Great hard driving beat. Brilliant!!! If my memory serves me correctly it's the 'B' Side of Always Be Good To Me.

Regarding Barbara Perry-A Man Is A Mean,Mean thing, It could have heard it in the backbeat room? But If I stay in there to long,I dont know why but I get a bit claustrophobic.
