Just a quick note to say that SET THE TONE 67 will be celebrating its 5th birthday at The Social (off Little Portland Street, nr Oxford Circus tube) on 26 January 2008.

I am guesting with Phil Enthucol - it should be another great nite of ska, rocksteady and reggae business.

Just a quick bump on this thread to say that Sir Marcus Downbeat and I (under our nom de wax 'Hot Bomb Hifi') return to Set The Tone on Saturday 22nd August for their pre- I.O.W. / pre-Carnival bash ... looking forward to what should be another great night, never had a duffer there yet in five years!!

We went off to see the one-off Controllers gig that didn't happen, mate. If I'd had my mobile with me, I'd've rung you for a reminder of where you were playing, but I didn't and I couldn't remember.

Wish I could have done, as our evening turned out rather less inspiringly than we had hoped it would...
