If you've read the Duke Peacock thread you'll know that Selectasoul sold me a twenty year want; The Duke Peacock book.

This was Wednesday last week. I paid by Paypal, and the book was posted Thursday last week. It arrived this morning !

Given that I've had to wait ten days sometimes for records posted airmail, I think five working days, the week before Christmas is an unbelievable performance by both the US and UK posties. Take a bow guys.

Well I can't really. The 2410 posts I've made on SS have all been a random selection of keys pressed, amazingly, I'm told they have all formed words, and even sentences that other people can understand.

Unless of course that the automatic translation service that you use from Romany to English works for people that can't read as well
