Prophonics 2029 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 well adding all this up 8 or 9 up to now.
Dave Abbott Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 well adding all this up 8 or 9 up to now. probably my all time favourite NS record, if i was asked, which i wasn't so mind your own business. i was at the last Scenesville and i went to see Nick about something and there it was and i held it in my hands and said to Janine when i went back that i had Soul Inc in my hands and probably never would again...I still haven't washed me mits since that nite remember Arthur got one of the Ebay ones dead cheap - there was no label scan or any real info that made the ad look unlegit so scared away bidders...Tim auctioned one too within the klast year or two, but that looked beaten to f*ck. i think there are only 5 copies cos the 10 of us share them between ourselves
Prophonics 2029 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 (edited) Arthur's has a stamped date in green inc as seen on Ebay September 1968 he never saw it until I pointed it out to him, err £1500 and a minty. Edited December 23, 2008 by Prophonics 2029
Dave Abbott Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Arthur's has a stamped date in green inc as seen on Ebay September 1968 he never saw it until I pointed it out to him, err £1500 and a minty. exactly; exactly; exactly think i added one too many 'eaxactly's' there (except that ebay wasn't around in 1968)
Prophonics 2029 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 exactly; exactly; exactly Yes but it made it more exciting Dave. No the record had the date stamp and it wasn't sold on ebay in 1968 but it could have been sold in 1968, not sure if its a record shop stamp or a radio station stamp? So that would make it a promo.

Kjw Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Definitely heard Mick H play it so I guess he's got a copy too
Guest Mrs M Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I actually think credit should go out firstly to Rob Marriott who played it as a first time out at The Claremont in Edinburgh around 13 years or so ago and credit to Mark Wilson for buying it that night and getting it the plays it deserved. Remember the night like it was yesterday, blew me and Micky Cruise away... excellent tune!!!
