Docfish Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 The Kansas City Express is great! But, what is the record starts at 2:19? i guess they're at least more sincere than most hipsters who start randomly buying 45s and djing. are they on here? I saw someone posting that had "lawrence soul club" as his event. that 45 he plays at the end is the kansas city express "this is the place", it's actually very rare and mostly unknown.
Dave Thorley Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 They have the same attitude as the guys that run the Ann Arbor soul club, it's a joy to dj with them when I'm out there. The U.S. scene is different, but the guys are so into it, nice people and they know how to party.

It's something known, I think I heard wales wallace last night but might have forgot, I would have to listen again tonight. it was definitely a chicago thing. or was there something else?

Think your right Bob. Sounds like Wales Wallace - We're not happy on Bashie. I'd have to dig my copy out to confirm for def.
