Chalky Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 The Complete Ty Karim CD to Lighten Up my 40 minute journey to work. I consider myself fortunate to have a job at the moment and pleased to have such a great singer to listen to. Steve I've had that on in cab today, great cd. Also had the Vibrations cd on from Kent too, magic, under-rated group. And to finish off this afternoon Fabulous Peps and Lee Rogers cd's. Great when I can listen to music (albeit cds) all day.
Blake H Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Anyone remember when John Manship sold tapes? I'm sure most of us bought these great tapes from John. Ocasionally he would have a guest compiler, well today I dug out a box of tapes, hooked up my tape deck to the PC and have been listening to some of the best, including old Richard Searling shows etc. One of the best JM tapes was called "Dont make a mess in your pants" compiled by Ken Harris, anyone remember it? It was when midtempo was being accepted (although they sound a lot faster now!) I dont have a track listing but I'll try and see if I can remember the titles. If Ken Harris is on SS under a alias thanks for that great tape. Blake
