Mike Shawe Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 cheap as chips copy .. is there such a beast, always thought this was a big money item!?
Ian Seaman Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Thanks for info and offer but £350 is way way to high imho Ian.
Guest D'Arcy Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Got to dissagree with you there mate. I would say that it's been @£300.00 for quite a while now. The last nine months it has risen to £350.00 due to demand. Both these prices are for Minters though. Interesting that now there is increased demand for INR, as to whether "I'm Hip To Your Ways" will get the credit and interest that it deserves. A great soul record IMHO. ATB D'Arcy

ATB D'Arcy correct mate, i have seen a minter go for £500 last year !! but i don't want a minter just a cheap playable copy ( or an ebayer as i like to call em, ad as mint but arrives fooked ) Ian.
Dave Pinch Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 hip to your ways has always been a rare stock copy with the instrumental on the flip but if you shop around you might be able to pick up a demo for around 40 ukp. you`d be pushed to get im not ready for less than 300 even on ebay. didnt jm get over 600 in auction for it a couple of years ago . both top tunes which ever way you look at it dave
Simon M Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 This band went on to be Anglo Saxon Brown , and Silk on PIR.
Guest D'Arcy Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 This band went on to be Anglo Saxon Brown , and Silk on PIR. Thanks for this info Simon, I have an Anglo Saxon Brown LP some where and seem to remember that there was a big track played off it 20 odd years ago, was it "Imagianary World" or was that Family Brown? Memory shot to bits. Could we get a discography going of releases from this outfit from Ujima through Anglo Saxon Brown and onto Silk? Also, was it the same Silk as "Falling in Love Isn't Easy" on Nation? Any info greatly received. ATB D'Arcy
