In the early 90s I had a few tapes sent to me by Rob's brother Chris including many of Rob's then spins. My tapes had stuff like E. Rodney Jones, Masquaders, Entertainers, Fascinators, Young Bros or Van McCoy on it. Can't be coincidence can it?

Dean Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 about £3 no doubt and who's bed did you find them under Dean ? still got that Edwin Starr at Wigan somewhere as well Merry Xmas R & K Can I order a Lee Fields for £3, I always was a bit on the slow side. Always a funny thing about our scene isn't it, the cheap records are out there but stupid people like me pass over them until someone "important" stcks 'em on the decks and then I want one! It's often who plays rather than what's played. Still got the Edwin Starr at Wigan tape (sure there's a photo of you as well, with Big Rob Marriott as we cornered the poor bloke at the bottom of the stairs near the gents tiolets) there's a Jr Walker at St Ives too, and possibly a JR walker from Wigan - I'll have to check how that plays. Do you want any to take a copy Rob, or to play through? I'll check current quality. Just ask.
