Guest Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 (edited) Hello everyone. I've been working for Ninja Tune and have been asked to sell some records. They belong to Jon More of Coldcut and are from his personal collection which has just become far too large to manage. Below is a list of titles some of which may be of interest to you guys. Most are in perfect condition and haven't been played excessively. They've been looked after really well. If you want something of can give me any tips on which are the interesting or collectible ones please get in touch by email on coldcutcarbootsale@googlemail.com or reply in the thread. Guest Russ Smith Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 (edited) Anyone have any ideas??? You are going to have to research the prices first, as set sale is the only way to sell all but the highest value items. You should be able to find an idea of prices by checking set sales; ebay buy it now, gemm, music stack etc. Its a slow laborious process, but without the experience of years of buying and selling which most soul collectors have, its your best bet.. I know Jon used to sell to Mark Resolution, maybe he can help price them. I used to buy records from Matt a fair bit, and always had some really fair deals so good luck with the sales. Also, most of the 12 inch and Lps are not really of much interest to most people on here as they are not soul records as such, but look like things that would sell depending on condition etc. ( Record fair or online ) Spitalfields fair, alternate fridays is a good bet for diverse stuff. I know Jon used to have some tasty Funk 45 pieces, any of those going ? Edited December 15, 2008 by Russ Smith
