gazman Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Anyone got a hot tip on recordshopping in the City of Lights? The flea market at Porte de Clignancourt has some record stalls. I've picked up a couple from there in the past. I found a good little store called Sound records at 6 rue des precheurs in Les Halles. Mostly LP's but had some good stuff and the guys were very enthusiastic and helpful. There used to be a good store in Boulevard Beaumarchais near the Bastille, might be a refernce to it on here. I went looking for it in Octover it's now a furniture store! good luck gary
Guest Richard Bergman Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) I recommend Troglodisc a record shop thats close to the Pigale station on a street called Rue Fromentin. Helpful and pleasant staff (which is a rarity in Paris as you can expect.) Also the flea market at Porte De Clingancourt in North Paris make sure you check out all the streets surrounding the immediate area of the market as there are a few record shops and stalls there.Mske sure you get a map of the market as it's massive and you could miss stalls. Hope this helps in someway. Richard Edited December 10, 2008 by Richard Bergman
