Has anyone come across this release before?

I understand it's not the same recording as the one on US Celebration

As you can see the Quality release is Canadian, any further info on this welcome

I've got the Quality 45 somewhere....will try and dig it out and post a sound clip later tonight if that would help? To be honest I don't think I've ever played it!

Cheers Adam, it would at least be something to compare the two with

I've only got a small sound clip of the Quality 45 but haven't as yet found out my Celebration copy to see if I can tell if there actually is a difference.

But the seller does say they are different.

Here's the clip if anyone else can tell if it's different or not:

Sounds different to me, John.

Sounds slower too!

Guess he cut both it before teaming up with David Walliams!

Cheers Adam, did you make it jump on purpose?

Sean, I'm not sure who you mean by 'David Walliams' - who he then?

Yes it does sound different, but not much, I'd still have to find out my Celebration 45 out to get a better comparison of the two.

Funnny though, both 45s show the same timings and credits etc - I find it odd if they are not the same recordings - unless it was a mistake either with the pressing plant or the typing?

Hi John,

No the jump comes as an extra added freebie, just to make it that bit more interesting laugh.gif . Now, anyone know how to remove what looks like a spot of paint from vinyl????

Adam, Try paint remover? :P - Seriously though, I'm sure you'll have tried the old fingernail scraper trick, it sometimes works. Or maybe a plastic scraper of some sort, not too hard as to dig in the record but may just remove the offending item.

Sean, just found out who you meant by "David Williams":):D

Never really did much for me 'Little Britain' - so never connected the names mellow.gif ...especially with your spelling typo wink.gif

Nah John, I realise that you're not 'down with the kids' anymore! :P

And it wasn't a typo mate. He performs as Walliams, though his real name is Williams.

So, where did we get to on Matt Lucas? Is it the same or different?

Well, it's funny you should ask - my copy arrived this morning and it's as the sound clip Adam posted above (but without the jump! ) but I still need to find out my Celebration copy to compare them properly.

It's definately not the same recording, even though the labels show the same times. You can tell from the one above there's something different, not a great difference but it's there.

I can't explain it without being able to compare them 'side by side' so to speak.

Maybe someone out there will post up the US recording before I find my copy out rolleyes.gif
