I'd like to know what you think ?

Would replacing a badly damaged label on an original 45 with say, a photo copy, alter the value of the record ?

Leave well alone, even if it's damaged it's still the original label, the replacement will be just that......... A replacement.

as said leave it alone mucker n paste a copy of the label onto the sleeve
