I think it was a bit of a freak result, because the record is largely unknown. Around the same time Manship sold one for around £750-£800, I know the person who bought it off him. For what's it's worth, I think it's a good record and it certainly sounded good when I played it up at Soulsville in Leeds!!!!! Seems a bit cheap, maybe. link The above ebay auction link for the archibald record was actually a copy that I sold last year. At the time the record seemed fairly unknown to UK collectors. I actually offered the record to several people at the $200-$250 US dollar mark last year who passed on it.
