Move&Groove production is a Milan-based collective of DJs who are passionate about rare groove. Move&Groove formed in September 2002 from the artistic collaboration between Piergiorgio Capozza and Nick RecordKicks, the first coming from the Associazione Culturale Fez - a movement based in the Italian town of Bari and lead by Nicola Conte - and the second from Vitaminic / Record Kicks. Since its first year, Move&Groove has been organising dancefloor jazz, funk, nothern soul, dancefloor jazz Club Nights in Milan. During its numerous one-nighters Move&Groove hosted Paul Murphy (Afroart rec), Andy blowup Lewis (Acid Jazz Rec), James Maycock (Harmless Rec), Gazzara (Irma Rec), Frank Popp (Unique rec), Stefano Oggiano (BreakOut soul Club) Link Quartet (Record Kicks / Hammondbeat Rec), Nicola Conte, Dj Ninfa, Sam Paglia ... and many more. In May 2003, along with I Panema aka Steven Perri of Jet70, and Sir.Viner of chiediallapolvere.it, Move&Groove Production welcomed the DJ Claudio Audio, a former original member of "La Pelle Nera" - a crew of DJs engaged in the spreading of northern soul - and of the "Electric Escargot" project, a prestigious one-nighter organised at Milan's legendary Tunnel club. Move&Groove's new company did not waste time during the boiling hot summer of 2003 and hit the dancefloor with the Move&Groove @ Parco Increa summer one-nighter in Brugherio (Milan), featuring live guests & DJ sets. At the moment, you can find the Move & Groove collective every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the Casa 139 in Milan, with the "BOOGALOO!" one-nighter and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month with "VERTICAL GROOVE - from jazz to future sounds".
