Can't say as I remember that! I have the Vault W/D and it plays loud and proud.

with that set I think you'll be the best judge! biggrin.gif

I could have sworn that I had it on a green vault label in the 70's, and I'm convinced it was vinyl...

I used to have it on a styrene Vault white demo, record was m- yet it played loud but with some sort of distortion.

I have a feeling that the Omen and Vault 45s are pressed from the same stampers. Both issues certainly have the same matrix number (427). which is unusual in that Omen and Vault were not labels that were affiliated to each other in any way...

I have it on a Vault issue, this also plays loud but seems distorted .

I might just have a shite copy I dont know.

reason I posted is that I have just sold a styrene vault, white label on ebay and the buyer is returning it as he has noticed some distortion,am waiting it's return to hear myself.

Mine doesn't sound right either for about the first 10-20 seconds seems to settle down after that.

Somebody set the recording level at +11??

Hi

As promised I have played all three copies.

Because I only have MODERATOR Option in "The Sharp End Of Vinyl" I have started a New Thread,

makes it little easier to work on.

>>> OMEN / VAULT - THE WOODEN NICKELS - NOBODY BUT YOU <<<

I have Included SoundClip and Scan, will Update Information as time allows.

Hi Tony

Yes, I had a look at that, unusual indeed.

Monarch Numbers are Different Though between the OMEN & VAULT.

Just about to leave for work, not 100% sure but wasn't there a suggestion that Popcorn knew nothing about the

VAULT & Vocalion release for "Goin' To A Happening", just wondering where VAULT obtained master for these releases.
