Corbett80 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Florida rhythm & soul par excellence £3k for a minter likely price?? Never seen or heard of one for sale although hasn't Mick H got one now? The other one is a tidy double sider too but not in the same league as this.

Kev I think Ginger had one of the copies we've had, we've only ever had two, BOTH promo copies one from Ralph Barton, the other I found in a college music shop in Gainesville, Fla, not sure where the other copy ended up.

Surely we genrify too much, a great Northern record, certainly sounded the business played out loud, although always preferred his other one Eye for An Eye I think, that Colin Law played out way back, fantastic double sider. I take it that is also a rare one these days?

Jocko, I totally agree with your statement about what we class as N/Soul,I have no problems 6Os to present,as long as they are dancers,Ive been one or two nighters where the Dj is a collector and not a dancer,we just look at one another and shake our heads,as the floor emptys. Kev

I take it that is also a rare one these days? Do you mean Thank You Girl/One Way Love? That pic of Hank Hodge EFAE looks like that copy of The Royal Imperials on Mellow Town that did the rounds. I hope it plays better! Edited December 4, 2008 by mulf
